Ingredients

Cranberry Brie Bites
  • 1 8 oz package refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 8 oz brie cheese cut into 24 small pieces
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce homemade or store-bought

Equipment

  • Mini muffin tin
  • Baking mat
  • Rolling Pin
  • Pizza Cutter

Method

Prepare the Cranberry Brie Bites
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Lightly spray a mini muffin tin with cooking spray.
  2. Lightly sprinkle all-purpose flour over a baking mat or clean work surface. Roll out the refrigerated crescent roll dough. If using individual crescent rolls, pinch the seams together to form one sheet of dough.
  3. Using a pizza cutter or sharp knife, cut the crescent dough into 24 approximately equal squares.
  4. Press one square of crescent dough into each well of the prepared mini muffin tin, allowing the corners of the dough to extend slightly above the edges.
  5. Cut the brie cheese into 24 small pieces. Place one piece of brie in the center of each crescent dough cup.
  6. Top each piece of brie with a small spoonful of cranberry sauce.
Bake
  1. Bake for about 15 minutes, or until the crescent roll cups are puffed and golden brown and the brie is warm and melted.
  2. Allow the bites to cool in the muffin tin for a few minutes before carefully removing and serving warm.

Notes

Cranberry sauce: Homemade cranberry sauce or canned/store-bought cranberry sauce both work well for this recipe.
Crescent dough: If your package contains individual crescent triangles, pinch the perforated seams together before cutting the dough into 24 squares.
Serving: These cranberry brie bites are best served warm while the brie is soft and creamy.
Yield: Makes 24 small bites.
