Ingredients

  • 1 10-ounce bag marshmallows
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • Halloween sprinkles as desired

Method
 

Prepare the Pan
  1. Lightly coat a 9×13-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
Melt the Marshmallows
  1. Melt the butter in a large microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Add the marshmallows to the melted butter and stir to coat.
  3. Microwave for 45 seconds, remove the bowl, and stir well.
  4. Return the bowl to the microwave and heat for another 45 seconds. Remove and stir until the marshmallow mixture is smooth and completely melted.
Add the Cereal
  1. Add the Rice Krispies cereal to the melted marshmallow mixture.
  2. Stir gently until all of the cereal is evenly coated with the marshmallow mixture.
Shape and Decorate
  1. Transfer the cereal mixture to the prepared 9×13-inch pan and distribute it evenly.
  2. Press the mixture firmly into an even layer.
  3. Immediately sprinkle Halloween sprinkles evenly over the top, gently pressing them into the surface so they stick.
Serve
  1. Allow the treats to set as needed, then cut into squares or rectangles and serve.
